Props: Small Tree or Pinecone
Run in the scene yelling,
"The infantry is coming! The infantry is five miles away!"
Then run off hastily.
Wait a minute
Run into the scene yelling,
"The infantry is coming! The infantry is one mile away!" “Gather yourselves!”
Run away
Run into the scene yelling,
"The infantry is coming! The infantry is just around the corner!"
The next time you are quietly carrying a small tree (or a large pinecone,)
<This could even be wrapped as a baby if large enough>.
Pause in front of the audience and say:
”SHHH!! The infant-tree is sleeping.”
